ROUTINE INTERNAL MANAGEMENT OF CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES WITHIN THE
DIVISION OF CORRECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an
emergency measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public health and safety, has been passed by a yea and nay
vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take effect
from the date it is enacted.

AN ACT concerning

State Police - Retirement Allowance Member Contribution

FOR the purpose of altering the method of calculating a service
retirement allowance or an ordinary disability retirement
allowance for a member of the State Police Retirement System

of the State of Maryland; repealing a certain obsolete

provision; and generally relating to the calculation of a
retirement allowance for a member of the State Police
Retirement System of the State of Maryland altering the
member contribution for members of the State Police
Retirement System after a certain number of years of
creditable service.
