SEPARATED FROM THE SECOND BY A RING OF WHITE AND FORMED BY A RING
OF BLACK WITHIN WHICH IS A REPLICA IN BROWN OF THE FOUR-HORSE
FREIGHT WAGON WITH WHITE COVER WITH THE YEAR 1837 IMPOSED ABOVE
THE WAGON, THIS YEAR BEING THE TIME OF THE CREATION OF CARROLL
COUNTY FROM PARTS OF FREDERICK AND BALTIMORE COUNTIES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation - Use
of Land for Residential Purposes

FOR the purpose of altering, under certain circumstances, the
maximum lot sizes that are allowed for the construction of
dwelling houses for certain persons on land that is located
in certain areas under the Agricultural Land Preservation
Foundation to conform with certain regulations adopted by
the Department of the Environment; and generally relating to
the use of land for certain purposes under the Agricultural
Land Preservation Foundation.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 2-513(b)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Agriculture

2-513.

(b) (1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, a
landowner, whose land is subject to an easement, may not use the
land for any commercial, industrial, or residential purpose.
