SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 56 - Licenses

335.

(L) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISIONS OF MARYLAND LAW,
THE BOARD MAY RELEASE TO THE PUBLIC THE NAME AND THE ADDRESS OF A
LICENSEE, WHICH THE BOARD REGULARLY USES AS A MAILING ADDRESS FOR
OFFICIAL BOARD CORRESPONDENCE. THE LICENSEE SHALL DESIGNATE THE
ADDRESS TO BE USED AS A MAILING ADDRESS AT THE TIME OF ISSUANCE
OF THE ORIGINAL LICENSE AND ON RENEWAL OF THE LICENSE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:

Article - Business Occupations

15-208.1.

(A)  (1) THE BOARD SHALL MAINTAIN A LISTING OF THE NAMES AND
MAILING ADDRESSES OF ALL LICENSEES AND PERMIT HOLDERS.

(2) THE BOARD MAY RELEASE THIS LIST TO THE PUBLIC.

(B)  THE LICENSEE OR PERMIT HOLDER SHALL DESIGNATE THE
ADDRESS AT THE TIME OF ISSUANCE OF THE ORIGINAL LICENSE OR PERMIT
AND ON THE RENEWAL OF THE LICENSE OR PERMIT.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of
this Act shall take effect July 1, 1989 and remain in effect
until the taking effect of Section 2.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of
this Act shall take effect October 1, 1989, contingent on the

taking effect of Chapter _____ (S.B. 1) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1989. However, if Chapter _____ does not

become effective, then Section 2 of this Act may not take effect
and shall be hull and void without the necessity of further
action by the General Assembly.
