LAWS OF MARYLAND

or endorsement, or assignment of any bond, writing obligatory,
bill of exchange, promissory note for the payment of money or
property, acquittance or receipt for money or property, or shall
utter or publish as true, with intention to defraud any person
whomsoever any false document of waiver or release of mechanics'
lien, or any entries in a book of account or ledger, shall be
deemed a felon, and on being convicted thereof shall be sentenced
to the penitentiary for not more than ten years or fined not more
than $1,000, or both.

(C) ANY PERSON WHO SHALL KNOWINGLY POSSESS, WITH UNLAWFUL
INTENT, OR UTTER FORGED, COUNTERFEIT, OR ALTERED UNITED STATES
CURRENCY SHALL BE DEEMED A FELON GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR, AND
UPON CONVICTION, SHALL BE SENTENCED TO IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE
THAN 10 3 YEARS OR FINED NOT MORE THAN $1,000 OR BOTH.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Frederick County Adult Detention Center - Polygraph Test

FOR the purpose of excluding correctional officers of the
Frederick County Adult Detention Center from the prohibition
against mandatory submission to polygraph tests for
employment or application for employment or prospective
employment.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 100 - Work, Labor and Employment

Section 95(a)(3)(iii)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
