AN ACT concerning

Maryland Veterans Commission - Membership

FOR the purpose of altering the membership of the Maryland
Veterans Commission to include the Korean War Veterans
Association, Inc.; and generally relating to the composition
of the Maryland Veterans Commission.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - State Government

9-907.

(a) (1) The Commission consists of the following [24] 25
members:

(i) as an ex officio member, the Chairman of
the Maryland Veterans' Home Commission; and

(ii) [23] 24 members appointed by the Governor.

(2) Of the [23] 24 appointed members:

(i) 1 shall be appointed from each of the 8
congressional districts in the State;

(ii) 1 shall be appointed from the State at
large; and
