WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor

Ch. 392

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the subtitle
"Subtitle 3. Energy Overcharge Restitution Trust Fund" of Title
7 of Article 83B - Department of Housing and Community
Development of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
7-201 through 7-211 and the subtitle "Subtitle 2. State Standby
Petroleum Fuel Set-Aside"; and 7-301 through 7-308, respectively,
of Article 83B - Department of Housing and Community Development
of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s)
4-801 through 4-811 under the amended subtitle "Subtitle 8.
State Standby Petroleum Fuel Set-Aside"; and 7-101 through 7-108,
respectively.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That § 4-101(b)(8)
of this Act shall take effect July 1, 1989, contingent on the

taking effect of Chapter ____ of the Acts of the General Assembly

of 1989 (S.B. ___/H.B. ___) (91r0916), and if Chapter _____ does

not become effective, § 4-101(b)(8) of this Act shall be null and
void without the necessity of further action by the General
Assembly.

SECTION 5 AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of
this Act and the changing of Title 7 of Article 83B of the Code
from the "Maryland Energy Office" to the "Energy Overcharge
Restitution Trust Fund" shall be null and void upon the taking
effect of Chapter of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1989
(SB ____ /HB 1062).------------

SECTION 5. 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, with the
exception of § 4-101(b)(8) of this Act, this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1989.
