(7) (8) ALTERNATIVE APPROPRIATE FUNDING MECHANISMS
FOR IMPLEMENTING THE PLAN.
(B)(1) THE GOVERNOR SHALL APPOINT A STATE CHILD CARE PLAN
COORDINATOR.
(2) THE STATE CHILD CARE PLAN COORDINATOR SHALL:
(I) PROVIDE INFORMATION TO COUNTIES CONCERNING
CHILD CARE NEEDS;
(II) DEVELOP GUIDELINES AND PROVIDE GUIDANCE
AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO EACH COUNTY; AND
(III) ESTABLISH A STATEWIDE NETWORK OF PLAN
COORDINATORS.
(E) THE GOVERNOR SHALL DESIGNATE AN EMPLOYEE OF THE OFFICE
FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH TO SHALL ASSIST THE COUNTIES IN THE
DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR PLANS, IF REQUESTED TO DO SO BY THE COUNTY.
(C)(1) (F)(1) NO LATER THAN JANUARY AUGUST 1, 1990 EACH
COUNTY SHALL SUBMIT A PLAN TO THE GOVERNOR AND, SUBJECT TO §
2-1312 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
(2) THE GOVERNOR MAY PROVIDE FUNDS IN THE BUDGET TO
ASSIST EACH COUNTY TO DEVELOP SERVICES UNDER THE COUNTY'S PLAN.
(2) IT IS THE INTENTION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY THAT
FUTURE IMPLEMENTATION OF LOCAL CHILD CARE SERVICE DELIVERY PLANS
PROVIDED FOR UNDER THIS SECTION SHALL BE EITHER SELF-SUPPORTING
OR SUBSIDIZED PRINCIPALLY BY LOCAL FUNDS.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

Restricted Parking Spaces
