and he shall prescribe the penalty for any deficiency OR EXCESS.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning
Maryland Pesticide Registration and Labeling Law
FOR the purpose of clarifying the expiration date for pesticide
registration; repealing the Secretary of Agriculture's
authority over certain pesticide standards; altering certain
registration fees; altering certain registration
requirements; requiring the Secretary to develop a
comprehensive pesticide data program; requiring the
Secretary to issue a certain annual report to the General
Assembly by a certain date; specifying that certain
distributors of a brand or product name of a pesticide shall
register the brand or product name of the pesticide;
providing a certain exception; requiring the submission of
certain information to the Secretary under certain
circumstances; requiring compliance with certain federal
pesticide requirements under certain circumstances; defining
a certain term; altering certain labeling requirements for
certain pesticides; altering the Secretary's authority to
condemn a certain pesticide and to issue certain orders; and
generally relating to the Maryland Pesticide Registration
and Labeling Law.
