AN ACT concerning

Special Registration Plates - Disabled Individuals -
Parking Privileges

FOR the purpose of authorizing a person for whom special disabled
person's registration plates have been issued to park in a
space equipped with a parking meter only for the maximum
allowable time specified on the parking meter; clarifying
language; and generally relating to the parking privileges
of individuals who have been issued special disabled
person's registration plates.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

13-616.

(f) (1) In this subsection "special types of vehicles"
means:

(i) Emergency vehicles defined under § 11-118
of this article;

(ii) Service vehicles defined under § 22-201 of
this article;

(iii) Class B (for hire) vehicles;

(iv) Class C (funeral and ambulance) vehicles;

(v) Class H (school) vehicles;

(vi) Class I (charter bus) vehicles;

(vii) Class J (vanpool) vehicles;

(viii) Class P (passenger bus) vehicles; and
