AN ACT concerning

Domiciliary Care Homes - Level of Nursing
Care Regulations

FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene to adopt regulations establishing a certain level of
nursing care in certain domiciliary care homes; requiring
the Department to cooperate with local subdivisions that
license personal care boarding homes for certain purposes;
and generally relating to nursing care in certain
domiciliary homes.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

19-301.

(e) (1) "Domiciliary care" means services that are provided
to aged or disabled individuals in a protective, institutional or
home-type environment.

(2) "Domiciliary care" includes:

(i) Shelter;

(ii) Housekeeping services;

(iii) Board;
