(i) 5 percent as to awards and settlement
agreements approved on and after June 1, 1963 and prior to July
1, 1987; and

(ii) 6 1/2 percent as to all awards and
settlement agreements approved on and after July 1, 1987.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987. The changes made to Article 101, §
66(2)(a)(ii) of the Code as enacted by Section 1 of this Act
shall remain effective for a period of [2] 3 4 years and, at
the end of June 30, [19891 1990 1991, and with no further action
required by the General Assembly, the changes made to Article
101, § 66(2)(a)(ii) of the Code under this Act shall be abrogated
and of no further force and effect.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.
