take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning
Estates - Administration
FOR the purpose of requiring the Attorney General to make
available to the public certain instructional materials
regarding probate; requiring registers of wills to assist
the public in certain probate procedures; limiting liability
under this Act to cases of gross negligence; and providing
for a delayed effective date.
FOR the purpose of requiring the Attorney General to make
available to the public, review in a certain manner, and
update under certain circumstances, certain instructional
materials regarding probate; requiring registers of wills
and certain employees to provide certain materials and
assist and advise the public in the preparation of certain
forms; limiting the liability of certain persons with
respect to any assistance or advice provided under this Act;
providing for an exception for cases of gross negligence;
providing for a delayed effective date; and generally
relating to requiring certain instructional materials,
assistance, and advice concerning probate to be provided by
certain persons to the public.
