(ii) The exemption of tuition under this
section is contingent on the availability of funds under the
federal Job Training Partnership Act.
(3) The Department of Economic and Employment
Development shall coordinate funds for this Displaced Homemakers
Program according to the provisions of Title II of the federal
Job Training Partnership Act, with the funds to be provided by
service delivery areas.
(4) The executive director of the State Board for
Community Colleges shall:
(i) Allocate a minimum of 200 positions for the
Displaced Homemakers Program among the community colleges of the
State that are located in geographic areas that have been
designated by the Governor as service delivery areas in
accordance with Section 101 of the federal Job Training
Partnership Act; and
(ii) Base the allocation of positions on the
number of displaced homemakers in the service delivery area.
(5) Before January 1 of each year, the State Council
for the Maryland Job Training Partnership Program shall prepare a
report on the Program for the General Assembly.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning
Vehicle Laws - Truck Bumpers - Height
FOR the purpose of broadening the application of altering a
provision of law to prohibit the operation of any Class E
truck certain Class E trucks vehicles if the truck's bumpers
have truck vehicles has been altered in a certain manner;
altering a provision of law to prohibit a person from
operating any Class E truck certain Class E trucks with
vehicles that have been altered in a certain manner that
results in the vehicle having a bumper that exceeds a
