(e) (1) Only one current driver's license may be issued by
the Administration to and held by any individual at any one time.

(2) Before issuing a license, the Administration
[may] SHALL require the applicant to surrender any other license
issued to him by any jurisdiction.

16-111.1.

(a)  (1) When an applicant applies for an initial driver's
license or for a class of driver's license other than that which
the applicant currently holds, the applicant shall pay the
Administration a license fee of $22. This fee covers issuance of
a learner's INSTRUCTIONAL permit and, if the applicant qualifies
before the learner's INSTRUCTIONAL permit expires, issuance of a
driver's license.

(2) If a learner's INSTRUCTIONAL permit is not
required, the applicant shall pay the Administration, when the
driver's license is issued, a license fee of $20.

(b)  For the renewal of [any class of] A NONCOMMERCIAL CLASS
A, B, C, D, E, OR M driver's license, a licensee shall pay the
Administration a renewal fee of $6.

(c)  For issuance of a duplicate OR CORRECTED NONCOMMERCIAL
CLASS A, B, C, D, E, OR M driver's license, a licensee shall pay
the Administration a duplicate OR CORRECTED driver's license fee
of $6.

(d)  For conversion of a provisional license to a driver's
license issued under § 16-111 of this subtitle, a licensee shall
pay the Administration a fee of $2.

(E) A LICENSEE SHALL PAY A FEE OF $6 IF:

(1)  THE LICENSE IS ISSUED OR RENEWED UNDER § 16-104.1
OF THIS SUBTITLE; AND

(2)  THE LICENSEE PRESENTS PROOF TO THE ADMINISTRATION
THAT IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE CONVERSION OF THE LICENSE UNDER §
16-104 OF THIS SUBTITLE, THE LICENSEE WAS QUALIFIED TO OPERATE
VEHICLES OF THE SAME CLASS.

16-114.1.

(A) TO OBTAIN A CORRECTED PHOTO COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S
LICENSE, AN INDIVIDUAL SHALL:

(1)  APPLY FOR A CORRECTED COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE
ON THE FORM REQUIRED BY THE ADMINISTRATION;

(2)  SURRENDER THE INDIVIDUAL'S ORIGINAL LICENSE; AND
