(2) Neither the sentence required under paragraph (1)
of this subsection nor any party of it may be suspended, and the
person may not be eligible for parole except in accordance with
Article 31B, § 11 of the Code.

(F)(1) THE MINIMUM TERM OF IMPRISONMENT FOR A PERSON
SENTENCED AS A SECOND OR SUBSEQUENT OFFENDER UNDER SUBSECTION
(C), (D), OR (E) OF THIS SECTION SHALL BE TWICE THE MINIMUM TERM
REQUIRED UNDER THOSE SUBSECTIONS IF THE OFFENSE OCCURRED.

(I) ON THE PROPERTY OF A PUBLIC OR NONPUBLIC
ELEMENTARY OR SECONDARY SCHOOL THAT IS USED FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES;

(II) WITHIN 1,000 FEET OF THE PROPERTY OF A

PUBLIC OR NONPUBLIC ELEMENTARY OR SECONDARY SCHOOL THAT IS USED
FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES; OR

(III) ON OR WITHIN 1,000 FEET OF A SCHOOL BUS.

(2) THE MINIMUM SENTENCE REQUIRED UNDER PARAGRAPH (1)
OF THIS SUBSECTION MAY NOT BE SUSPENDED AND THE PERSON SENTENCED
MAY BE PAROLED DURING THAT PERIOD ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE
31B, § 11 OF THE CODE.

(3) THE MINIMUM SENTENCE REQUIRED UNDER PARAGRAPH (1)
OF THIS SUBSECTION SHALL BE IMPOSED EVEN IF THE DEFENDANT WAS
UNAWARE THAT THE PROHIBITED CONDUCT TOOK PLACE ON OR WITHIN 1,000
FEET OF SCHOOL PROPERTY OR A SCHOOL BUS.

286C.

(a)  A person may not hire, solicit, engage, or use a minor,
in any manner, for the purpose of manufacturing, distributing, or
delivering, on behalf of that person, any controlled dangerous
substance in sufficient quantity to reasonably indicate under
all the circumstances an intent to distribute, unless the
manufacturing, delivery, or distribution has a lawful purpose.

(b)  Any person who violates this section is guilty of a
felony and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to imprisonment
for up to 10 20 years, or fined up to $10,000 $20,000, or both.

286D.

(A) A PERSON WHO VIOLATES § 286 OR § 286C OF THIS

SUBHEADING BY DISTRIBUTING OR POSSESSING WITH INTENT TO

DISTRIBUTE A CONTROLLED DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE IS GUILTY OF A
SEPARATE OFFENSE PUNISHABLE UNDER THIS SECTION IF THE OFFENSE

OCCURS:

(1) ON THE PROPERTY OF A PUBLIC OR NONPUBLIC

ELEMENTARY OR SECONDARY SCHOOL THAT IS USED FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES;
