effective date of this Act. In case of any dispute as to what
money or assets may qualify as matching funds, the Board of
Public Works shall determine the matter, and the Board's decision
is final. The Mayor and City Council of Gaithersburg have until
June 1, 1991, to present evidence satisfactory to the Board of
Public Works that the matching fund will be provided. If
satisfactory evidence is presented, the Board shall certify this
fact to the State Treasurer and the proceeds of the loan shall be
expended for the purposes provided in this Act. If this evidence
is not presented by June 1, 1991, the proceeds of the loan shall
be applied to the purposes authorized in § 8-129 of the State
Finance and Procurement Article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Business Occupations Article - Corrections and
Cross-References

FOR the purpose of correcting certain errors in the Business
Occupations Article; correcting throughout the Annotated
Code cross-references that will be rendered obsolete by the
Article; providing for correction of cross-references
generally; conforming the terminology in certain provisions
to the terminology in the Article; deleting an obsolete
provision for audits of motor clubs prepared by accountants;
correcting punctuation; making stylistic changes; providing
for the effect of a certain Section of this Act; providing
for a delayed effective date; and generally relating to the
Business Occupations Article.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section l-101(b), 2-305(d)(2), 3-103(b)(l) and (2),
4-202(b), 5-321(e)(l), 5-404(a), 5-407, 5-408(e)(l),
