AN ACT concerning

Charles County - Alcoholic Beverages - Liquor Control Board

FOR the purpose of repealing a reference to the nonexistent
Liquor Control Board in Charles County.

Preamble

WHEREAS, Chapter 328 of the 1988 Laws of Maryland provided
for a term of office for members of the Liquor Control Board of
Charles County; and

WHEREAS, Charles- County does not have a Liquor Control
Board; and

WHEREAS, This legislation is intended solely to correct an
error created by Chapter 328 of the 1988 Laws of Maryland; now,
therefore,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(a) There is hereby constituted and established in each
county a liquor control board, to be appointed and to have the
tenure, compensation, powers and duties as provided in this
subtitle; provided that in Montgomery County there is hereby
constituted and established, effective July 1, 1951, a department
