(House Bill 443)

AN ACT concerning

Calvert County — Employees Control Center - Polygraph Test

FOR the purpose of excluding certain employees personnel of
Calvert County from the prohibition against mandatory
submission to polygraph tests for employment, application
for employment, or prospective employment.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 100 - Work, Labor and Employment

Section 95

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 100 - Work, Labor and Employment

95.

(a) (1) The following words have the meanings indicated.

(2)  The term "employer" as used in this subtitle
means every employer engaged in any business or enterprise in
this State, including the government of the State of Maryland, or
any county, incorporated city or town, or other municipal
corporation.

(3)  The term "applicant for employment or prospective
employment or any employee" as used in this subtitle does not
include:

(i) A law enforcement officer as defined in §
727 of Article 27;
