SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

158.

(k) (1) In Montgomery County, [the services of the
department of inspection and licenses,] the office of the county
attorney and other county departments shall be made available to
the board. [The director of the department of health or his
designee shall act ex officio as secretary to the board and may
not receive extra compensation for the services.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Worcester County - Alcoholic Beverages Drive-Through Purchase

FOR the purpose of prohibiting in Worcester County the issuance
or transfer of any class of off-sale retail alcoholic
beverages license for use or intended use in a drive-through
purchase facility where alcoholic beverages are sold and
dispensed in a certain manner to a purchaser in or on a
motor vehicle for off-premise consumption.
