AN ACT concerning

State Board of Inspection of Horse Riding Stables -
Maryland Program Evaluation Act

FOR the purpose of waiving the review of the State Board of
Inspection of Horse Riding Stables required under the
Maryland Program Evaluation Act and requiring review during
the next cycle of sunset evaluations; and generally relating
to the evaluation of the State Board of Inspection of Horse
Riding Stables under the Maryland Program Evaluation Act.

Preamble

WHEREAS, The State Board of Inspection of Horse Riding
Stables has been subject to an evaluation to determine the
appropriateness of waiver pursuant to § 8-403(e) of the Maryland
Program Evaluation Act, this procedure being created to
streamline the process for legislative review required under the
Act; and

WHEREAS, The Legislative Policy Committee has reviewed the
organizational and fiscal status of this Board and has determined
that the Board is operating in a reasonable manner and that
further review is not necessary at this time; and
