CHAPTER 107

(House Bill 84)

AN ACT concerning

Transportation - State Railroad Administration

FOR the purpose of codifying provisions of law relating to the
State Railroad Administration within the State Department of
Transportation; providing for the Administration's
organization, duties, responsibilities, and funding and for
the powers of the Secretary of Transportation relative to
the Administration; transferring certain powers from the
Secretary of Transportation to the Administration; providing
that the commission of certain acts on State-supported
commuter trains constitutes a misdemeanor punishable by a
certain fine; providing that existing obligations or
contract rights may not be impaired by this Act; and
relating generally to the State Railroad Administration.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
