Ch. 55

LAWS OF MARYLAND

[(f)] (G) The Governor may choose a staff consisting of the
Adjutant General, and not more than twelve aides. The aides will
be selected by the Governor from among the commissioned officers
of the National Guard and naval militia. Each of them may
receive an appointment as aide, which however, shall not add to
the actual grade of the officer so appointed; nor shall such
officer be relieved from duty with the organization to which he
is assigned, except when actually on duty as aide under the
orders of the Governor.

[(g)] (H) The appointment of a chief of staff and aides
shall be at the pleasure of the Governor.

[(h)] (I) A deputy Assistant Adjutant General for Army
shall be appointed by the Governor and his term of office shall
be at the pleasure of the Governor. The deputy Assistant
Adjutant General for Army shall have a commissioned grade not
above that of brigadier general and shall perform the military
duties assigned by the Governor or by the Adjutant General.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County - County Roads Board and Sanitary
Commission - Compensation

FOR the purpose of altering the compensation of members of the
County Roads Board and Sanitary Commission for Queen Anne's
County; and specifying that the salary increase does not
affect the incumbents.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's County
Section 13-103 and 14-102

Article 18 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1983 Edition and 1986 Supplement, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
