SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 75 1/2 - Professional Engineers

17.

(b) Any person, including an employee of the Board, may
[prefer charges of] SUBMIT A COMPLAINT TO THE BOARD ALLEGING
fraud, deceit, misrepresentation, gross negligence, incompetence,
misconduct, or other act or omission proscribed in subsection (a)
of this section, against any registrant. [Such charges]
COMPLAINTS shall be specific and in writing, shall be sworn to by
the person or persons making them, and shall be filed with the
secretary of the Board.
