PATIENTS TREATED IN THIS STATE FOR CANCER TO A CANCER CONTROL
AGENCY IN ANOTHER STATE IF:

(1)  THE PATIENT IS A RESIDENT OF THE OTHER STATE;

(2)  THE DEPARTMENT DETERMINES THAT THE AGENCY WILL
PRESERVE THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF THE INFORMATION; AND

(3)  THE OTHER STATE HAS AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE
EQUIVALENT INFORMATION ON MARYLAND RESIDENTS TO THIS STATE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

State Board of Dental Examiners - Powers and Duties

FOR the purpose of authorizing the State Board of Dental
Examiners to adopt regulations governing the training and
evaluation of certain dentists who administer certain
anesthesia, the issuance of permits to certain facilities
and certain dentists concerning the administration of
certain anesthesia, and the discipline of certain permit
holders; and providing for an effective date.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
