To become available immediately
upon passage of this budget to
supplement the appropriation for
fiscal year 1989 to provide
$101,500 for consultant studies
for the Governor's Commission on
Health Care Policy and Financing.

and $165,500 for consultant

studies for the Maryland

Commission on State Taxes and Tax
Structure.

1989 DEFICIENCY APPROPRIATION

23.05.01.02 General Emergency Fund

To become available immediately
upon passage of this budget to
supplement the appropriation for
fiscal year 1989 to provide funds
to the Board of Public Works.
These funds are to be used by the
Board in its judgment (1) for
supplementing appropriations made
in the budget for fiscal year
1989 when the regular
appropriations are insufficient
for the operating expenses of the
government beyond those that were
contemplated at the time of the
appropriation of the budget for
this fiscal year or (2) for any
other contingencies that might
arise within the State or other
governmental agencies during the
fiscal year or any other purposes
provided by law, when adequate
provision for such contingencies
