on enactment of H.B. 483 or S.B.

082 Provide funds for loans from the
Rental Housing Production Program
(Statewide).......................
083 Provide funds for loans from the
Group Home Acquisition Program
(Statewide).......................
084 Provide funds for the "Drop-In"
Housing Demonstration Program for
Baltimore City or other local
jurisdictions that provide one
dollar of funding for every two
dollars of State funds
(Statewide), provided that no
funds may be expended for the
"Drop-In" Demonstration Housing
Project until a report prepared by
an independent contractor
evaluating the effectiveness of
the technology is submitted to the
budget committees and the
Secretary of Housing and Community
Development who determine, based
on the evaluation, that this
technology is both feasible and
cost-effective relative to more
proven development approaches.
Further provided that the budget
committees are satisfied with the
explanation of the rental subsidy
program funded by the $2 million
appropriation.....................
