14-504.

(a) Subject to the hearing provisions of § 14-505 of this
subtitle, the Board, on the affirmative vote of a majority of its
full authorized membership, may reprimand any licensee, place any
licensee on probation, or suspend or revoke a license if the
licensee:

(26) Knowingly fails to report suspected child abuse
in violation of [§ 5-903) § 5-704 of the Family Law Article;

the Health Occupations Article.

Occurred: As a result of Ch. 635, Acts of 1987.

14-507.

(a) An order of suspension or revocation is effective, in
accordance with its terms and conditions, as soon as the Board
files it under this title.

[(c)] (B) On suspension or revocation of any license, the
holder shall surrender the license certificate to the Board.

[(d)] (C) At the end of the suspension period, the Board
shall return to the licensee any license certificate surrendered
under this section.

[(e)] (D) The Board shall keep a copy of the order of
suspension or revocation as a permanent record.
