Article 78A - Public Works

(b) Pursuant to the provisions of [§ 5-205 of Article 41]
ARTICLE 41B, § 5-607 of [this] THE Code [(1965 Supplement, as
amended)], the Board of Public Works may select the Maryland
Historical Trust as the agency designated to control and
administer the property and premises thus acquired, and for these
purposes title to or other interest in the property and premises
may be transferred to the Maryland Historical Trust, or the Board
of Public Works may transfer title to or other interest in the
property and premises to an appropriate governmental agency or a
private agency or corporation, subject to covenants and
conditions for proper maintenance and control of the property and
premises and for its reversion and return to the Board of Public
Works if these covenants and conditions are not performed.

Article 78B - Racing Commission

(b) (3) In recognition of the significance of the stakes
race known as the Preakness Stakes to the State of Maryland, and
in addition to any action that the Maryland Racing Commission may
take under § 7 of this article:
(i) If the Preakness Stakes is offered for
sale, the State reserves the right of first refusal of any bona
fide offer to purchase the Preakness Stakes. Upon receipt by the
licensee of a bona fide offer to purchase the Preakness Stakes,
the State shall:
