(i) Any person or corporation engaged in the business of
selling prescription drugs, controlled dangerous substances,
medicines, chemicals or preparations for medical use or of
compounding or dispensing physicians' prescriptions, who shall,
in person or by his or its agents or employees, or as agent or
employee of some other person, knowingly sell or deliver to any
person a drug, medicine, chemical preparation for medicinal use,
recognized or authorized by the latest edition of the United
States Pharmacopoeia and National Formulary, or prepared
according to the private formula of some individual or firm,
other or different from the prescription drug, controlled
dangerous substances, medicine, chemical or preparation, ordered
or called for by such person, or called for in a physician's or
other authorized [prescribers'] PRESCRIBER'S prescription, except
as authorized under § 12-508 of the Health Occupations Article,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof
shall be punished by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than
$500, or by not less than one month nor more than 12 months'
imprisonment, or by both, and any person so convicted shall
forfeit the right to practice pharmacy under any certificate or
registration issued under the laws of this State.

(b) Civil seizures or forfeitures and injunctive
proceedings commenced prior to July 1, 1970, shall not be
affected by these repealers or amendments, or abated by reason[,]
thereof.

No room or apartment in any tenement or dwelling house, and
no part of any tenement or dwelling house, shall be used for the
purpose of manufacturing, in whole or in part, altering,
repairing or finishing therein, any articles whatsoever, except
for the exclusive use of the person so using any part of such
tenement or dwelling house, or the immediate members of his
household, without a license therefor as provided in this
section.
