[(g) The Police Commissioner is not eligible for an
elective or appointed office during the term for which the
Commissioner was appointed, unless the Commissioner resigns six
months prior to the primary election or appointment.]

Error: Article of Public Local Laws in which repealed
section of laws was codified was incorrectly
cited in function paragraph and text of bill
being cured as "Article 5".

1987.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Drafter's
Notes contained in this Act are not law and may not be considered
to have been enacted as a part of this Act.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an
emergency measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public health and safety, has been passed by a yea and nay
vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take effect
from the date it is enacted.

Annual Corrective Bill

FOR the purpose of correcting certain errors and omissions in
certain articles of the Annotated Code and in certain
