(C)  LICENSE TO ENGAGE IN THE BUSINESS OF A CIGARETTE
VENDING MACHINE OPERATOR.

AN APPLICANT FOR A LICENSE TO ENGAGE IN THE BUSINESS OF A
CIGARETTE VENDING MACHINE OPERATOR SHALL:

(1)  PAY TO THE COMPTROLLER AN APPLICATION FEE OF
$250;

(2)  SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE COMPTROLLER ON THE
FORM AND CONTAINING THE INFORMATION THE COMPTROLLER REQUIRES; AND

(3)  OBTAIN THE LICENSE REQUIRED UNDER § 631 OF THIS
SUBTITLE.

(D)  LICENSE TO ENGAGE IN THE BUSINESS OF A CIGARETTE
WHOLESALER.

AN APPLICANT FOR A LICENSE TO ENGAGE IN THE BUSINESS OF A
CIGARETTE WHOLESALER SHALL:

(1)  PAY TO THE COMPTROLLER AN APPLICATION FEE OF
$251; AND

(2)  SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE COMPTROLLER ON THE
FORM AND CONTAINING THE INFORMATION THE COMPTROLLER REQUIRES.

(E)  LIMITATION ON APPLICATIONS.

IF A PERSON HAS HAD A PRIOR LICENSE REVOKED UNDER § 618 OF
THIS SUBTITLE, THE PERSON MAY NOT REAPPLY FOR THE LICENSE ON OR
BEFORE 1 YEAR AFTER THE DATE ON WHICH THE PRIOR LICENSE WAS
REVOKED.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a)(l)(i) and (ii) of this
section is new language derived without substantive
change from the second, fourth, and fifth sentences of
former Art. 56, § 65 and, as it related to the clerk
of the court, the first sentence.

Subsections (b)(1), (c)(1) and (d) of this section are
new language derived without substantive change from
the first sentence, as it related to the Comptroller,
and the third sentence of former Art. 56, § 66, the
fourth; sentence of § 71, and from the first sentence,
except as it related to business activities, and the
first clause of the second sentence of former Art. 81,
§ 446, and § 447, as it related to license
requirements.

Subsections (a)(l)(iii) and (c)(3) of this section are
new language added to state expressly the requirement
that a cigarette retailer and a cigarette vending
machine operator also must be licensed under § 631 of
this subtitle.
