MONTGOMERY COUNTY

(1)  require that loose and bulky materials carried in motor
vehicles be covered; and

(2)  generally regulate the transportation of loose or bulky
materials by motor vehicles.

(1)  simplify and clarify existing [[law]] housing
standards;

(2)  improve assurance of proper heat for tenants;

(3)  require interior painting of rental dwelling
units;

(4)  define a public nuisance and establish a
procedure for control;

(5)  improve property maintenance standards for houses
and accessory structures;

(6)  establish minimum property maintenance standards
for non-residential properties;

(6)  amend the procedures for waiving compliance;

(7)  eliminate the requirement for screen doors;

(8)  conform smoke detector requirements with state
law;

(9)  provide for locking doors on rental houses;

(10)  assure that condemned and abandoned houses are
secured against unauthorized entry;

(11)  require exterior completion of additions,
