RESOLUTION
A Resolution of the Commissioners of Ridgely, Maryland, to
enlarge the corporate boundaries of the Town of Ridgely, and
thereby amend the Charter of the Town of Ridgely.
WHEREAS, the Commissioners of Ridgely, pursuant to the
authority contained in Article 23A Section 19 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended), deem it in the
public interest to enlarge the corporate boundaries of the Town
of Ridgely; and
WHEREAS, the areas to be annexed are contiguous and adjacent
to the existing corporate area; and
WHEREAS, the consents for such proposal have been obtained
by the signatures of not less than twenty-five (25) percent of
the persons who reside in the area to be annexed and who are
registered as voters in the county elections and from the owners
of not less than twenty-five (25) percent of the assessed
valuation of the real property located in the area to be annexed;

Caroline County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

Charter Amendment No. 17
RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Commissioners of the Town of
Rising Sun, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XIE of
the Constitution of Maryland and Section 19 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition - 1981 Replacement
Volume), for the enlargement of the corporate boundaries of said
Town by the annexation of certain land contiguous to and
adjoining the existing corporate area by amending the provisions
of the Code of Cecil County, Maryland (adopted January 25, 1981),
