Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), 1973 Replacement
Volume, Title "Corporations - Municipal" to add a new section to
the Code of Cecil County, Maryland (adopted January 25, 1971)
under Chapter 27 of said Code which incorporates the Charter of
the Town of Elkton as adopted on October 30, 1968, and
constituting an amendment to the municipal charter of the body
politic and corporate known as the Town of Elkton, and to annex
and include the following described land in the boundaries of
taxable limits of the Town of Elkton.

CITY AND IN SO DOING TO REPEAL AND RE-ENACT WITH AMENDMENTS
ARTICLE I, ENTITLED "INCORPORATION AND GENERAL GOVERNMENT",
SECTION 2, ENTITLED "BOUNDARIES", OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF
FREDERICK; TO PROVIDE FOR THE ANNEXATION OF 111.5592 ACRES OF
LAND, MORE OR LESS, GENERALLY ALONG THE NORTHWESTERN BOUNDARY OF
THE CITY.

PROPERTY" BY AMENDING SECTION 172 ENTITLED "ACQUISITION AND
DISPOSAL" FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLARIFYING THE PROPERTY WHICH THE
CITY MAY ACQUIRE AND DISPOSE OF AND PROVIDING (i) THAT THE CITY
MAY ASSUME MORTGAGES, LEASES AND OTHER OBLIGATIONS IN CONNECTION
