(3) At the end of a term, a member continues to serve
until a successor is appointed and qualifies.

[(f) (1) If a vacancy occurs as to a physician member, the
Board shall select an interim member to serve until the faculty
elects a new member to fill the vacancy. The interim member
serves until a new member is elected and qualifies.

(2)  At the first annual meeting of the faculty after
a vacancy occurs, the faculty shall elect a new member to fill
that vacancy.

(3)  A member elected by the faculty after a term has
begun serves only for the rest of the term and until a successor
is appointed and qualifies.]

[(g)] (F) If a vacancy occurs as to a [consumer] member,
the Governor shall appoint a new member to serve only for the
rest of the term and until a successor is appointed and
qualifies.

[(h)] (G) (1) On the recommendation of the Board, the
Secretary may remove any member of the Board for neglect of duty,
misconduct, malfeasance, or misfeasance in office.

(2) The Governor may remove a [consumer] member for
incompetence or misconduct.

14-203.

(A) THE GOVERNOR SHALL APPOINT THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
FROM AMONG THE PHYSICIAN MEMBERS ON THE BOARD.

[(a)] (B) From among its members, the Board shall elect a
secretary-treasurer and any other officers that it considers
necessary.

[(b)] (C) The manner of election of officers and their
terms of office shall be as the Board determines.

14-204.

(a)  A majority of the members then serving on the Board is
a quorum.

(b)  The Board shall meet:

(1)  At the times and places that it determines; and

(2)  As requested by the Secretary.

(c)  Each member of the Board is entitled to:
