APPROPRIATE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY SHALL FORWARD A COPY OF THE
REPORT TO:
1. THE JUVENILE COURT; AND
2. THE CHILD'S ATTORNEY.
(II) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF
LAW, THE JUVENILE COURT MAY APPOINT AN ATTORNEY FOR A CHILD IN
FOSTER CARE AND WHO IS THE SUBJECT OF AN ABUSE OR NEGLECT REPORT.
(III) 1. WITHIN 45 DAYS AFTER THE FILING OF A
REPORT OF SUSPECTED ABUSE OR NEGLECT OF A CHILD IN FOSTER CARE,
ANY PARTY TO THE JUVENILE COURT PROCEEDING MAY REQUEST A HEARING
OR BRING THE MATTER TO THE COURT'S ATTENTION AT A REGULARLY
SCHEDULED HEARING.
2. THIS SUBPARAGRAPH MAY NOT BE CONSTRUED
TO AFFECT THE COURT'S AUTHORITY TO CONVENE A HEARING AT ANY TIME
TO REVIEW THE CHILD'S CIRCUMSTANCES.
(i) Within 5 business days after completion of the
investigation of suspected abuse, the local department and the
appropriate law enforcement agency, if that agency participated
in the investigation, shall:
(1) [make] MAKE a complete written report of its
findings to the local State's Attorney; AND
(2) IF THE CHILD WHO IS THE SUBJECT OF THE REPORT IS
A CHILD IN FOSTER CARE, FORWARD A COPY OF THE COMPLETE WRITTEN
REPORT OF THE FINDINGS TO:
1. THE JUVENILE COURT; AND
2. THE CHILD'S ATTORNEY.

(A) IF A CHILD CONTINUES TO RESIDE IN A FOSTER HOME AFTER A
LOCAL DEPARTMENT OR LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY RECEIVES A REPORT OF
SUSPECTED CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT IN THE HOME, THE LOCAL
DEPARTMENT SHALL VISIT THE HOME AT LEAST ONCE EACH WEEK UNTIL THE
REPORT OF SUSPECTED CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT IS RULED OUT.
(B) (1) IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER INVESTIGATION UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE, IF A CHILD IN FOSTER CARE IS THE SUBJECT OF A REPORT OF
SUSPECTED CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT IN A FOSTER CARE HOME, THE LOCAL
DEPARTMENT SHALL CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION OF THE HOME AND
DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT THE HOME COMPLIES WITH THE STANDARDS FOR
THE LICENSING OF FOSTER CARE HOMES ADOPTED BY:
(I) THE CHILD WELFARE LEAGUE OF AMERICA; AND
