JOINT RESOLUTIONS
(4) (5) A representative of the Federal Bureau of
Investigation, appointed by the Director of the Federal Bureau of
Investigation; and
(6) A representative from the Addictions
Administration, appointed by the Director of the Addictions
Administration; and
(5) (7) A representative of the Federal Drug
Enforcement Administration, appointed by the Director of the
Federal Drug Enforcement Administration; and a representative of
any other group that the Governor finds appropriate; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That the Governor designate the Chairman of the
Task Force, and select the chairman from among the members of the
Task Force; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Task Force issue a report by January 1,
1989 on the status of the study to determine the advisability and
feasibility of creating a centralized State Drug Enforcement
Administration, including a detailed report on the cost of
creating a centralized State Drug Enforcement Administration, and
issue a final report on its findings and recommendations to the
General Assembly by July 1, 1989; and be it further
RESOLVED, That staff for the Task Force be provided by the
State Attorney General's Office; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be forwarded by the
Department of Legislative Reference to the Honorable William
Donald Schaefer, Governor of Maryland; the Honorable Thomas V.
Mike Miller, Jr., President of the Senate of Maryland; and the
Honorable R. Clayton Mitchell, Jr., Speaker of the House of
Delegates; the Honorable J. Joseph Curran, Attorney General,
Office of the Attorney General, 7 North Calvert Street,
Baltimore, MD 21202; Dario Broccolino, State's Attorneys'
