Ch. 785                                          LAWS OF MARYLAND

SHALL DEVELOP A PROCEDURE AND ADOPT REGULATIONS FOR DETERMINING
THE NUMBER OF HANDICAPPED STUDENTS TRANSPORTED IN EACH
JURISDICTION IN EXCESS OF THE NUMBER TRANSPORTED IN THE 1980-1981
SCHOOL YEAR.

[(c)] (E) The State Board shall adopt rules and regulations
that provide for the safe operation of the student transportation
system of each county board of education.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Audiologists - Exceptions to Licensing Requirement

FOR the purpose of altering an exception to the requirement that

an individual be licensed as an audiologist before that

individual may practice audiology in this State; and
generally relating to the practice of audiology.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 2-301

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

2-301.

(a)  Except as otherwise provided in this title, an
individual shall be licensed by the Board before the individual
may practice audiology in this State.

(b)  (1) This section does not apply:
