SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

6-104.1.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER LAW, A PERSON MAY NOT DRILL FOR
OIL OR GAS IN THE WATERS OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY OR ANY OF ITS
TRIBUTARIES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Retirement and Pension Systems - Transfers

FOR the purpose of repealing provisions of law requiring
transfers of the employer's contributions when certain
members transfer between public retirement or pension
systems operated on an actuarially funded basis; making
technical changes; providing for the application of this
Act; and generally relating to transfers between public
retirement or pension systems operated on an actuarially
funded basis.
