DETERMINED INELIGIBLE FOR ACCREDITATION UNDER SUBPARAGRAPH (I) OF
THIS PARAGRAPH, AUTHORIZED BY THE STATE BOARD FOR HIGHER
EDUCATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM ESTABLISHED UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE.
(II) 1. A CANDIDATE FOR ACCREDITATION UNDER
SUBPARAGRAPH (I) OF THIS PARAGRAPH;
2. SUBJECT TO AN AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN
APPROVED BY THE STATE BOARD FOR HIGHER EDUCATION; AND
3. AUTHORIZED BY THE STATE BOARD FOR
HIGHER EDUCATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM ESTABLISHED
UNDER THIS SUBTITLE.----------------------------------------------
(4) Have awarded the associate of arts or
baccalaureate degrees to at least one graduating class;
(5) Maintain one or more earned degree programs,
other than seminarian or theological programs, leading to an
associate of arts or baccalaureate degree; and
(6) Submit each new program and each major
modification of an existing program to the State Board for Higher
Education for its review and recommendation as to the initiation
of the new or modified program.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988 1989.
