AN ACT concerning

Boat Excise Tax - Tax Paid to Another State Jurisdiction

FOR the purpose of exempting from the boat excise tax the
possession within this State of a vessel on which the owner
has paid an excise or sales tax to another state
jurisdiction under certain circumstances; altering the rate
of the boat excise tax for the possession within this State
of a vessel on which the owner has paid an excise or sales
tax to another state jurisdiction under certain
circumstances; providing that the exemption from the tax and
the alteration of the tax is applicable to vessels liable
for the tax after a certain date; and generally relating to
the boat excise tax.
