AN ACT concerning

Washington County — Vehicle Laws - Weight Restrictions

FOR the purpose of providing that a certain provision of law
establishing maximum gross weight limitations for certain
vehicles in certain counties does not apply in Washington
County; altering the applicability in Washington County of
certain restrictions on vehicle weights; altering, in
Allegany and Garrett Counties, the minimum percentage of a
vehicle's total gross weight that, if not carried on one of
the vehicle's axles, makes certain restrictions on vehicle
weight applicable; limiting the maximum gross weight of
certain vehicles operated on an interstate highway or in
Washington County; altering the penalty for a certain
violation and repealing the applicability of the a certain
penalty to vehicles in Washington County; repealing a
certain contingency; and generally relating to vehicle
weight restrictions.
