AN ACT concerning

Water Wells - Test Results

FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of the Environment to
adopt certain regulations that require certain information
concerning the test results on certain water wells be given
to certain persons; providing for the application of the
regulations adopted under this Act; and generally relating
to the dissemination of information concerning test results
on water wells.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Environment

9-1305.

(a)  The Department shall adopt rules and regulations for
the construction of wells.

(b)  The rules and regulations may recognize a variation:

(1)  In the primary use or construction of wells; and

(2)  Of the materials penetrated in different
localities.
