(2) [Harford County--Fifteen hundred dollars
($1500.00) per annum, provided that an additional compensation
shall be paid board members for administrative services, and any
other additional compensation that the County Council of Harford
County deems appropriate.] IN HARFORD COUNTY:

(I)  THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD SHALL RECEIVE AN
ANNUAL COMPENSATION OF $3,000;

(II)  EACH MEMBER OF THE BOARD SHALL RECEIVE AN
ANNUAL COMPENSATION OF $2,700; AND

(III)  THE CHAIRMAN AND EACH MEMBER OF THE BOARD
SHALL RECEIVE ANY ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION THAT THE COUNTY COUNCIL
DEEMS APPROPRIATE.

(i) [The] (1) EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS

SUBSECTION, THE board shall meet as frequently as in their
respective opinions may be necessary for the public business[;
except in].

(2) IN Worcester County they shall meet at least once
each week, in Somerset County they shall meet at least twice each
month[, and in].

(3) IN Harford County they shall meet at least fifty
times each year, BUT THE CHAIRMAN MAY CANCEL ANY OF THOSE
MEETINGS FOR LACK OF AN AGENDA.

(4) In Montgomery County, the director of the
department of liquor control shall devote all his time to the
duties of his office.

(5) In Garrett County the board shall meet at least
once each month.

161.

(a)(1) The liquor control boards may establish and
maintain stores to be known as "county liquor dispensaries", for
the sale of any sparkling or fortified wine and any other
alcoholic beverages containing more than 14 percent of alcohol by
volume, in sealed packages or containers. These packages or
containers may not be opened nor their contents consumed upon the
premises where sold.

(b) (1) [(i)] This subsection applies only in Harford
County.
