2-506. ASSIGNMENT OF RECIPROCAL LICENSE.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

SUBJECT TO SUBSECTION (B) OF THIS SECTION, AN INDIVIDUAL WHO
HOLDS A RECIPROCAL LICENSE MAY ASSIGN IT TO A PERSON WHO ENGAGES
IN THE BUSINESS OF PROVIDING ELECTRICAL SERVICES IF THE
INDIVIDUAL IS EMPLOYED PRINCIPALLY BY THE PERSON.

(B)  RESTRICTIONS.

AN INDIVIDUAL MAY REASSIGN THE RECIPROCAL LICENSE OF THE
INDIVIDUAL ONCE IN A FISCAL YEAR.

COMMITTEE COMMENT: This section is new language derived
from the first sentence of former Art. 56, § 321(f).

COMMITTEE COMMENT TO SUBTITLE:

Former Art. 56, § 321(e), which provided for the application
of the former subtitle to all electrical boards existing on or
after July 1, 1976, is deleted as unnecessary in light of the
provisions of this subtitle.

Former Art. 56, § 321(g), which provided for the repeal of
all local laws inconsistent with the provisions of the former
subtitle, is deleted since it serves no apparent purpose and is
potentially misleading.

SUBTITLE 6. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS.

2-601. LOCAL LICENSE REQUIRED.

WITHIN 60 DAYS AFTER THE ISSUANCE OF A STATE LICENSE TO AN
INDIVIDUAL, THE INDIVIDUAL SHALL HOLD A LOCAL LICENSE ISSUED BY
THE LOCAL JURISDICTION WHERE THE INDIVIDUAL:

(1)  RESIDES;

(2)  HAS A PRINCIPAL BUSINESS OFFICE; OR
