Occasionally, the term "licensee" is used in this
title as a synonym for a holder of any of the licenses
included in this subsection.

"Provide plumbing services" § 3-101

(F) LIMITED LICENSE.

(1) "LIMITED LICENSE" MEANS A LICENSE ISSUED BY THE
BOARD AS LIMITED BY § 3-310 OF THIS TITLE TO:

PLUMBER; OR

(I)  PROVIDE PLUMBING SERVICES AS A MASTER

(II)  PROVIDE PLUMBING SERVICES AS A JOURNEY

PLUMBER.

(2) "LIMITED LICENSE" INCLUDES:

(I)  A LIMITED MASTER PLUMBER LICENSE; AND

(II)  A LIMITED JOURNEY PLUMBER LICENSE.

COMMITTEE COMMENT: Paragraph (1) of this subsection is new
language added to avoid repetition of phrases such as
"limited license to provide plumbing services as a
master plumber".

Paragraph (2) of this subsection is new language added
to provide a specific list of licenses covered under
the defined term.

(G) MASTER PLUMBER.

"MASTER PLUMBER" MEANS, UNLESS THE CONTEXT REQUIRES
OTHERWISE, AN INDIVIDUAL WHO IS LICENSED BY THE BOARD TO PROVIDE
PLUMBING SERVICES.

COMMITTEE COMMENT: This subsection is new language added to
provide an express definition of "master plumber".
