LAWS OF MARYLAND

(B) THE GOVERNING BODY OF A COUNTY OR OF A MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION MAY PROVIDE, BY LAW, FOR:

(1)  THE AMOUNT AND DURATION OF THE PROPERTY TAX
CREDIT UNDER SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION; AND

(2)  ANY OTHER PROVISION NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE
PROPERTY TAX CREDIT UNDER SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

(House Bill 245)

AN ACT concerning

House of Delegates Scholarships

FOR the purpose of authorizing each member of the House of
Delegates to make certain scholarship awards in any amount,
but not to exceed a certain maximum amount; and generally
relating to the House of Delegates scholarship program.

FOR the purpose of repealing a provision of law in order to
authorize the members of the House of Delegates to divide
the amount of money each is entitled to award in a certain
scholarship program in any manner or amount, subject to
certain limitations provided by current law.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
