AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County - Auxiliary Police Officers

and Members of Volunteer Fire Fighters Companies -

Workmen's Compensation Benefits

FOR the purpose of providing that auxiliary police officers and
members of volunteer fire fighters companies of Baltimore
County shall be entitled to receive workmen's compensation
benefits under certain circumstances; defining a certain
term; specifying the amount of the compensation that the
officers and fire fighters members of volunteer fire
companies shall be entitled to receive; and generally
relating to workmen's compensation coverage and benefits for
auxiliary police officers and members of volunteer fire
fighters companies of Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 101 - Workmen's Compensation

35C.

(A) IN THIS SECTION, "VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY" MEANS:

(1) A VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY;

(2) A VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE COMPANY; OR

(3) A VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE AND RESCUE COMPANY.
