Ch. 544 LAWS OF MARYLAND
Chapter 504 of the Acts of 1986
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect January 1, 1987. [The changes made to Article 64A, §
37(a)(1) of the Code as enacted by Section 1 of this Act shall
remain effective for a period of 2 years and, at the end of
December 31, 1988, and with no further action required by the
General Assembly, the changes made to Article 64A, § 37(a)(1) of
the Code under this Act shall be abrogated and of no further
force and effect.]
SECTION 4. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
27(g) of Article 64A - Merit System of the Annotated Code of
Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) 27(e).
SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
7-209(e), (f), and (g), respectively, of Article State Finance
and Procurement of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered
to be Section(s) 7-209(d), (e), and (f), respectively.
SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Chapter 504 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of 1986 provided that the
changes made to Article 64A, § 37(a)(1) of the Maryland Annotated
Code by Section 1 of Chapter 504 would remain effective for 2
years and at the end of December 31, 1988, with no further action
required by the General Assembly, would be abrogated. The
changed made to Article 64A, § 37(a)(1) by Chapter 504 shall not
be abrogated as of December 31, 1988, but shall be of further
force and effect unless amended by the General Assembly.
SECTION 7. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1988.
