necessary to incorporate Sections 1 and 2 of this Act into the
structure of Article 56 - Licenses.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to the
approval of the Director of the Department of Legislative
Reference, the publishers of the Annotated Code of Maryland shall
propose the correction of cross-references that are rendered
incorrect by this Act.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect January 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore Goodwill Industries, Inc. Loan of 1986

FOR the purpose of amending Chapter 351 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1986 to extend the period of time that
Baltimore Goodwill Industries, Inc. has to provide certain
satisfactory evidence of a matching fund to the Board of
Public Works.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 351 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1986

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:

(1) The Board of Public Works may borrow money and incur
indebtedness on behalf of the State of Maryland through a State
loan to be known as the Baltimore Goodwill Industries, Inc. Loan
of 1986 in the total principal amount of $109,000. This loan
shall be evidenced by the issuance, sale, and delivery of State
